I've long had a passion for fitness which started with research for my own training. At a young age I decided to join the Army and had to change the way I trained, performance now mattered, not just looks. Through this self education I started to realise that most magazines/websites etc.. were full of sh*t! When I left the Army I knew I wanted a career in the fitness industry to help people avoid the bad advice and one day open my own gym.
Fast forward a few years of working as a fitness instructor, running bootcamps, personal training out of my garage and in a commercial gym.. Glen and myself went for it and took the risk/opportunity to open our own gym in 2013.
We've made many changes over the years as we continue to educate ourselves as coaches and I believe that's part of what makes us unique. We are always looking at how we can get better results for our members and make the gym the best it possibly can. There's a continual investment back into education year on year.
To sum it up. I enjoy helping people reach their maximum fitness level in all aspects. Strength, speed, power, endurance, agility, flexibility. Including use of powerlifting, weightlifting, gymnastics, rowing, running, biking, kettlebells and more. Not many gyms can honestly claim they do that. We can. And I love it!
